Our story

Made for cooks with greasy fingers.

We fell in love with cooking on YouTube. Night after night we watched home cooks, chefs and curry houses share recipes so good you could almost smell them.

Then we went into the kitchen to cook along. Onions sizzling, hands covered in spices and oil — and every two minutes another tap on the screen. Pause. Rewind. “How much cumin was that?” Pause again. A smeared phone and a burnt garlic later, we knew there had to be a better way.

So we built one.

Cooking Corner turns a cooking video into a written-out recipe: every ingredient, every amount, every step — in your own language, ready on the counter while you cook. No more pausing. No more rewinding. Just cooking.

In honour of the creators

None of this exists without the brilliant people behind those videos. They test, film and explain their recipes with real love, often for free. Cooking Corner is our tribute to them: every recipe keeps the creator’s name and a link back to the original video. Watch them, like them, subscribe — and then cook their food with clean hands and a calm mind.
